About Me
I'm a mechanical engineer, and graduate of Brunel University in London where I completed the MEng programme, graduating with first class honours.
I spent a lot of my childhood making things and programming computers, and trying to get my computer to talk to the things I made. For a while I made a living pursuing my other interest - playing the double bass. But I found I spent all my spare time either building robots, or building machines to allow me to build better robots, so I decided I'd better pursue engineering professionally, and began my engineering degree in 2009.
I'm interested in the entire engineering process. I'm always working to increase my understanding of the analytical disciplines in engineering (e.g. extending my understanding of control theory is a current preoccupation), but I also derive great pleasure from building things myself and developing my understanding of how things are made.
Take a look at the Projects section to get an idea of my interests and abilities.
